Our Leadership Team

At the Council of African Independent Churches (CAIC), our leadership is guided by a deep commitment to spiritual integrity, community service, and biblical principles. Our team of national office bearers and coordinators is dedicated to providing direction, vision, and support to the entire fellowship of churches and organizations under CAIC. Together, they work to ensure that our mission to educate, empower, and unify communities is carried out effectively and faithfully.

National Office Bearers

  1. Presidency
    The Presidency oversees the overall strategic direction of CAIC, offering spiritual leadership and guiding the organization in fulfilling its vision and mission.
  • President: Bishop S. Moloi
    As the President of CAIC, Bishop Moloi provides spiritual oversight, leadership, and guidance to the organization, ensuring that all initiatives align with the biblical mandate and mission of CAIC.
  • First Deputy President: Archbishop J.M. Mjele
    Archbishop Mjele assists in leadership duties, supporting the President in executing CAIC’s programs and initiatives while representing the organization at various events and gatherings.
  • Second Deputy President: Moderator M. Mbusha
    Moderator Mbusha plays a crucial role in advising and supporting the Presidency, with a focus on ensuring that CAIC’s vision is implemented effectively across all member churches.
 Secretariat
The Secretariat is responsible for the administrative functions of CAIC, ensuring smooth communication and coordination within the organization.

    As the General Secretary, Bishop Ngcana handles the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all programs, meetings, and activities are effectively managed and documented.
Deputy General Secretary: Moderator B.N. Manzi
Moderator Manzi supports the General Secretary in administrative duties and takes charge of special projects and advocacy campaigns within CAIC.
