At the Council of African Independent Churches (CAIC), our ministries are at the heart of our mission to serve God, empower communities, and transform lives. Each ministry is designed to address the spiritual, social, and practical needs of our members and the communities we serve.  Woman to Woman Ministry

Vision Statement:
The WoMan to Woman Ministry centers on relationships between women, whether it’s mother to daughter, sister to sister, or friend to friend. Our ministry is strategically designed to touch, empower, include, and involve every woman within CAIC, helping them grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
Mission:
Led by First Lady Minah Ngcana, the WoMan to Woman Ministry fosters unity, strength, and grace among women in our church. Through mentorship, fellowship, and service opportunities, we aim to create an atmosphere where women can flourish in their walk with God and in their relationships.
Activities and Programs:
  • Monthly fellowship meetings focused on spiritual growth and personal development.
  • Mentorship programs connecting women of different ages and stages.
  • Support groups for mothers, single women, and widows.
  • Opportunities to serve in various ministries such as Children’s Ministry, Ushering, and Community Outreach.

Youth Desk – Young Adult Ministry

Vision Statement:
The Youth Desk is dedicated to equipping young adults with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation they need to live out their purpose and demonstrate the power of God’s Kingdom.
Mission:
Through dynamic worship experiences, relevant teachings, and vibrant fellowship, the Youth Desk empowers young adults to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and actively serve in ministry.
Who Attends Youth Desk?
This ministry caters to college students, young professionals, singles, and married couples within CAIC.
Activities and Programs:
  • Weekly Bible studies and discussion groups.
  • Social events and outings to build community among young adults.
  • Leadership development and mentorship opportunities.
  • Outreach initiatives to engage young adults in serving the community.

CAIC School of Ministry

Vision Statement:
The CAIC School of Ministry is committed to developing ministers and leaders who are well-versed in sound doctrine, devoted to prayer, and equipped to lead and serve in the 21st century.
Mission:
We offer comprehensive training programs for those called to ministry, focusing on biblical knowledge, church leadership, and personal spiritual growth. Our goal is to prepare ministers who will effectively preach the gospel, shepherd congregations, and fulfill the Great Commission.
Programs Offered:
  • Ministerial training for aspiring pastors and church leaders.
  • Courses on doctrinal understanding, homiletics, and pastoral care.
  • Practical ministry internships for hands-on experience.
  • Licensing and ordination preparation for those seeking to enter full-time ministry.

Marriage Ministry

Vision Statement:
Our Marriage Ministry is dedicated to helping couples build strong, healthy, and God-centered marriages that can withstand life’s challenges and serve as a testimony to others.
Mission:
We provide couples with the tools and support they need to nurture their marriage relationships, strengthen communication, and grow together in their walk with Christ.
Target Audience:
  • Premarital couples (dating with the intention of marriage).
  • Married couples seeking enrichment and deeper connection.
  • Couples in crisis who need guidance and restoration.
Programs and Activities:
  • Bi-weekly marriage enrichment sessions.
  • Quarterly workshops and seminars on topics like communication, conflict resolution, and financial management.
  • Annual marriage retreats designed to rekindle romance and strengthen bonds.
  • Support groups for couples facing specific challenges, such as infidelity, separation, or blended families.

 Ministerial Affairs

Vision Statement:
CAIC’s Ministerial Affairs ministry supports and nurtures the spiritual and professional growth of pastors, ministers, and church leaders within our organization.
Mission:
We provide resources, training, and fellowship opportunities for ministers, helping them to grow in their calling, lead with integrity, and serve their congregations effectively.
Key Areas of Focus:
  • Ongoing ministerial education and leadership development.
  • Networking and collaboration among church leaders.
  • Support and counseling services for ministers and their families.
  • Encouraging a culture of accountability, spiritual growth, and ethical leadership.

Social and Community Development Ministries

Vision Statement:
We are committed to restoring and strengthening families and communities through programs that promote spiritual growth, economic empowerment, and social justice.
Mission:
Our community development initiatives are focused on addressing the needs of vulnerable groups, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and enhancing the well-being of all individuals within our communities.
Programs and Services:
  • Elderly care programs offering support and fellowship for senior citizens.
  • Disability inclusion initiatives to support and integrate people living with disabilities.
  • Youth empowerment programs providing skills training, mentorship, and career guidance.
  • Food security initiatives, including community gardens and feeding programs.
